Sector Groups

Our Sector Groups, made up of industry experts, cover Gloucestershire’s leading business sectors and ensure that what we do is firmly rooted in the real world.

Our sector groups are: Banking, Business and Professional Services, Construction, Creative Industries, Manufacturing, Environmental Technologies, ICT, Land Based, Logistics, Retail and Tourism & Leisure.

In addition, a Business Membership Group represents more than 50 institutes such as the Chambers of Commerce, Institute of Directors, CBI etc.

Finally, to ensure that nothing is lost between sectors the LEP has a Business Advisory Group which brings together the chairs of each sector group and the Business Management Group to inform the Board and look for opportunities across sectors.

     
Sound complicated? It’s true that bringing together nothing less than an entire County economy takes some doing, but no: there’s a Board, there are sector groups and a sensible structure to bring it all together.
